Interested in a technologically advanced school?
We provide the tools that our students need to be successful. As part of your individual curriculum, you will have daily access to state-of-the art technology (laptop, iPad, Kindle, Smartboards, digital curriculums).
Why should you attend the Leadership Program?
In addition to small, safe classrooms, each student is paired with an advisor who will mentor them throughout their education and make sure they do not become lost in the system. We also integrate leadership learning and team building activities into our programming. This early exposure to life skills better prepares our students for college and careers.
Leadership News:
Spirit Week
The week before Halloween was the first student council led spirit week for the Leadership Center. The events earned student council seventy-two dollars, and the winners all received a special Chinese-food lunch. In addition to Spirit Week, it was red-ribbon week, and the nurses and Student Council teamed up each day to promote drug abuse and misuse awareness throughout the festivities. The normally sleepy Monday was appropriately deemed pajama day, and student Alex Williams –complete with bathrobe- took the prize as that day’s winner. On Tuesday, wacky hair day didn’t see a lot of participation, but Darryneesha Garvin’s crazy ‘do won her a special luncheon.
Twin day didn’t see a winner, but Hat Day on Thursday witnessed some crazy headgear! Priscilla Torres’ cookie monster hat was a favorite, and earned her the nod from faculty. On Friday we held a Halloween costume contest, and among the ghoulish costumes emerged Kaela Lyons and Mike McGarvie as the faculty favorites.
