Sara has been a Registered Nurse for 19 years. She specialized in Maternal-Child Health/OB-GYN and Neonatal Intensive Care for 15 years, then Pediatric Orthopedics and Pediatric Urology for the past 6 years at Shriner's Hospital for Children while also working within CSE schools as a substitute/part-time school nurse. She and her husband Keith have 3 children; Keller, Owen and Teaghan, who keep them busy with athletics and activities. Nurse Watkins is an animal lover, as is the rest of her family. Pets are a big part of what makes their house a home. She enjoys spending time with her family, watching college wrestling and soccer, kayaking with her sister, and walking their dogs together. She also loves weekend road trips with friends and family. Nurse Watkins always has had a love of taking care of people, especially children, so becoming a school nurse here at the Leadership Center is a great fit within her career and personality.
