There are many extracurricular activities, clubs, and intramural sports for students to participate in at CSE if they seek more than just academics. The Charter School of Excellence offers art, music, and dance activities after school, student government (SGA), and other activities throughout the year based on student interest.

SOPA UNIFIED SPORTS INDOOR BOCCE

Our first season competing in the SOPA Unified Sports Northwest Region is here! Our indoor Bocce team will be following this winter schedule.

DISCOVERY CENTER BASKETBALL

The Discovery Center's boys basketball team plays in the Independence Basketball League (IBL). The open their season with a Christmas tournament and play through February.

Explore SOME Extracurricular Activities

For those students that do not want to participate in PIAA sports but still want the benefits of athletics and being part of a team, CSE offers many intramural and recreational league sports activities. Soccer, basketball, bowling, cheerleading, and dance are just some of the sports and activities that you will have the chance to participate in at the Charter School of Excellence.

CSE is also a proud member of SOPA Unified Sports, joining for the 2023-24 season and competing in bocce. Our Bocce team plays within the Northwest Region, in Section 1.
