April 10th, 2024, 10:57 AM PMThis spring, CSE celebrated our school's inclusive culture. We help a fundraiser for Special Olympics, as part of our participation in Unified Sports Bocce. CSE was proud to join the Region 1 Special Olympics of Pennsylvania Organization, and we were very excited to help support so many athletes in our state and across the nation!
On April 3, we held an 'inclusion day' at CSE. All students and staff were encouraged to wear orange in support of our inclusive culture.
In addition to a raffle supporing the Special Olympics of PA, we also participated in the Cool Schools Plunge, which took place at the Courtyard Marriott on April 5. Schools from across Region 1 were "Freezin for a Reason!" Many CSE Staff and the members of the CSE Bocce Team plunged into a cold pool to raise awareness for inclusion and Special Olympics.
All proceeds from direct donations and the raffle will be presented to Special Olympics.
