David Plonski attended Mercyhurst University and studied Elementary and Special Education. After college, David worked as an EMT for 5 years. Later he started a new career in banking that lasted for 12 years, including working as a branch manager for the last 4 years of that time. Finally, he made his way back to his passion of working with kids and was hired as the Program Facilitator/Athletic Coordinator in March 2025. Mr. Plonski has a long coaching career in Erie as well.  For over 28 years, he has coached high school soccer, multiple middle school and club programs, and he started a club for underprivileged children. In his free time, Dave loves spending time with his two children and his German Shepard pup.
