Jennifer Newsom joined the Charter School of Excellence, as our Lead School Nurse, in 2023. She and her husband have three kids along with three dogs and two cats.  You can often find Jennifer supporting her family through a diverse mix of interests and activities.

Jenn graduated from Gannon in 2010 and began her professional journey in the NICU at Hamot, where she continues to contribute on a casual basis. In 2020, she embarked on a new chapter, substituting as a school nurse, which lead to her decision to pursue a school nurse certification in 2021, achieving that goal in 2022.  While at CSE, she aspires to earn her Master's degree in school nursing.
