Heather obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Specialized Studies with a Minor in Spanish Language from Edinboro University and continued her education there to earn her Master's in Middle/ Secondary Instruction and obtaining her PA Education Certificate in Social Studies. She has taught in Public Schools, the Collaborative Learning Center and at the Leadership Center for multiple years now. She enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 daughters and dogs. She has been running competitively for over 20 years but also enjoys kayaking, gardening, camping and whatever gets her family outside
