Melissa Shrout earned her BA in Psychology from Penn State, The Behrend College. She earned her MS in Special Education and certification in Applied Behavior Analysis. She is currently licensed through the state of Pennsylvania as a Behavior Specialist. She holds her teaching certificate in both Elementary Education and Special Education. Melissa has worked in the education field for the last 22 years through a variety of capacities; Therapeutic Support Staff, Therapeutic Group Leader, PreK teacher, Developmental Specialist, Behavior Specialist, and most recently Special Education Team Facilitator. Her current position at CSE as IEP facilitator focuses on crafting Individualized Education Plans along with the Teacher of Record.
