Jennie Lisek received her B.A. in English at Mercyhurst University and her M.Ed at Slippery Rock University. She plans to obtain an ESL Certification at PennWest University in August of 2027. Mrs. Lisek has been teaching English Language Arts (ELA) since 2016 having taught in North Carolina, Florida, and Pennsylvania. She has taught at CSE since 2022 and received the Teacher of the Year Award at the Leadership Center for the 2023-2024 school year. After teaching ELA for 10 years, she transitioned into the role of Language Instruction Educational Program (LIEP) teacher, which allows her to teach and support students who speak English as a second language. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, husband, and dog as well as writing, cooking for her family, doing anything creative, taking long drives, and stopping to smell the roses.
