Jolene attended Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and obtained her bachelor's degree in science, a master's of science and is currently working towards her master's in education. While obtaining her master's of science degree Mrs. Smock completed a graduate thesis on small mammals and the transference of Lyme disease on Presque Isle State Park. She was also part of the 2006 Regional Science Consortium at the Tom Ridge Environmental Center. She has worked on both the French Creek project and the steel-head relocation program. She enjoys many different hobbies such as fishing, hunting, kayaking, gardening, sewing, scrap booking, jewelry making, reading and watching Netflix.
