I would highly recommend CSE to any student. I have sent both of my children to CSE, my daughter graduated in 2019 with top honors. She is a very introverted person and thrived at CSE. She found friends and found a spot for herself in the school. Teachers helped her find her way, and make the grades that helped her get into a top art school to chase her dreams. She's now chasing that dream in Savannah, Georgia. My son is a junior ('20-'21 school year), and despite all the co-vid changes, is also thriving. He is a more outgoing person and found friends that help him be his best. The teachers at CSE make such a difference in each student, no matter what they need. They go out of their way to make them comfortable and are willing to help the students achieve their best. I can't imagine either of my kids being at a different high school. CSE is AWESOME!!!

The Charter School of Excellence Skills Center has been the absolute best choice for my son for his high school years. He came to the school as a quiet, defeated, insecure young man who disliked school because of his experience of failure and bullying due to his special needs. My son is supported each day educationally and emotionally. He is encouraged to do his best work, ask questions, and seek help when he has questions. He is accepted and supported by his peers. His whole outlook has changed! He looks forward to going to school. He is now a young man growing in confidence and self-esteem. He is proud of his work and his accomplishments. He has hopes and dreams for his future. Truly, it is because of the staff and teachers who have gone above and beyond to make this transformation possible! MY heart is grateful!
